Vitamin D  maintains strong bones. It does so by helping the body absorb calcium (one of bone’s main building blocks) from food and supplements.

Vitamin D helps protect older adults from osteoporosis and supports the immune system.

Other Ingredients: Safflower Oil, Gelatin, Vegetable Glycerin, Sunflower Oil, Purified Water.

Interactions: Corticosteroid medicines, weight-loss drug orlistat, the cholesterol-lowering drug cholestyramine, phenobarbital and phenytoin (used to prevent and control epileptic seizures); can impair or reduce vitamin D absorption, which leads to lower calcium absorption and loss of bone over time.
