Your body uses B vitamins for a variety of biological processes, including growth, digestion, and nerve function.
B Vitamins (thiamine, riboflavin, niacin, pantothenic acid, biotin, vitamin B-6, vitamin B-12 and folate) are water soluble vitamins: they are easily absorbed by the body, which doesn’t store large amounts. The kidneys remove those vitamins that are not needed.
Vitamins are required in very small amounts but are essential for healthy growth and development, and general well-being. They occur naturally in certain foods but are not synthesized by humans and therefore it is essential to include it in the diet.
