Calcium is required for vascular contraction and vasodilation, muscle function, nerve transmission, intracellular signaling and hormonal secretion, though less than 1% of total body calcium is needed to support these critical metabolic functions.
Vitamin D prevents rickets in children and osteomalacia in adults, together with calcium, vitamin D also helps protect older adults from osteoporosis.
Other Ingredients: Vegetable Cellulose, Silicon Dioxide, Croscarmellose Sodium, Stearic Acid. Contains <2%: Hypromellose, Magnesium Stearate, Titanium Dioxide, Polyethylene Glycol.
Suggested Use: For adults, take 1 tablet daily preferably with a meal. As a dietary supplement. Always discuss the supplements and medications you take with your health care provider.
